Enjoy the
peace and tranquility of the farm lifestyle at Bartons Rose
Farm.
Spend a morning relaxing, taking time to roam through the gardens
and indulge in a Devonshire Tea.
Groups as well as individuals are welcome to tour through the
gardens, or a guided tour can be organized. We structure our
guided tours to suit the group visiting, whether it be a horticultural
group, garden club, or those just out to view the gardens and
have an enjoyable time learning about what we do and listening
to general information regarding the area and farming community
around us. Guided tours are available for groups of 20 or more.
The farm is wheelchair friendly, with ramps for easy access
to the tea house and toilets.
Access to the gardens is also easy for wheelchairs with the
grassed walking areas being flat.
After
enjoying the gardens, we are available to help with any purchases
that may be obtained on the day from our large selection on
display in our sales area.
After
winter pruning, the gardens burst into flower at the end of
September and continue to be a beautiful show throughout the
year until winter frosts and the natural dormancy period slows
their growth. The winter prune is done yearly in late July to
mid August.
